Variety Show Fan

I went to my old high school for the annual variety show to see some friends. It was really fun. There was one song "You're just too good to be true, can't take my eyes off of you, you'd be like heaven to touch." and one of the boys comes out in the audience and gives a random girl a rose and kind of sings to her the whole time. Well, Saturday night, he picked me! I was laughing and blushing so hard. One of my friends also sang "A whole new world" but changed it to "black market world". I came up with the idea about 6 months ago. It was neat to see it performed :) They were great! I had an amazing time cheering as loud as I could and getting the crowd cheering!

Nightmare on 13th

I found out about this crazy haunted house in Salt Lake. It is supposedly the scariest haunted house in America! I got together the same friends that went to the corn maze, and drove 2 hours down to the haunted house. It was tons of fun! It wasn't that bad kind of scary, where you can't sleep afterwards and have terrible nightmare, but the fun kind of scary! We had VIP passes that allowed us to go to the front of the line. We also got to go into an extra part called the Extreme Nightmare. We had tons of fun! I would love to go back next year! :)

Corn Maze

Some of my friends got together the other night and went to the corn maze! 17 acres! It was in the shape of a castle with a dragon at the top. We did a really good job except for the when we got a little lost in the 2008 that was in the corner of the maze. Apparently, on the weekends the maze is haunted... that would have been fun too! In the middle of the maze, there was a little cart to get yummy hot chocolate and some candy. We bought tons of laffy taffy, probably about 30, and some warm hot chocolate. Fun times!

Latter-Day Voice Retreat

Me and a bud, in the hoop of love
Kissing rugby, I lost :(
Cheetah Girls, Cheetah Sisters (I guess, children of the cheetah might be more including)

Skit
Another bud, love that girl!

I was blessed to make it into a top singing group at the Logan Institute called, "Latter-Day Voices". We went on an amazing over night retreat where we all were able to get to know each other a whole lot better. On the way down, we were seperated into "lip sync" groups and giving a song to learn on the drive down. When we arrived at the camp, we would have to perform. My group recieved the song "Cheetah Girls, Cheetah Sisters" which was an absolutly beautiful thing considering there were two of the most man-ly men in our group. We had a blast learning the words especially the main part including "mamma didn't raise no fool" "Cuz we're cheetah sisters, our spots are different, different colors." What powerful and inspiring lyrics! LOL

Our activities included eating delicious meals, kissing rugby, wonderful talks from our leaders, and a whole lot of bonding time. What a great group of kids! I'm lucky to be apart of it all!

Picture Time

My mom and I decided to re decorate my room. We are going with a black and white and red theme and decided some black and white pictures with red accents (this really cool feature on my camera) would look really cute in this frame that said "Live Love Laugh", pretty much my life motto. So of course, having a professional photographer as a mom, we went out and took some pictures in about a half an hour!So here are some pictures of me, a college going girl! Ahhhhhhh! I'm so old!

Courtyard Cafe

I was blessed to receive a job this summer working at my aunt and uncles restaurant in L.A. I had a complete blast! From the 24/7 spanish radio to the endless frozen yogurt samples, I learned some valuable skills from the best bosses possible. I never thought my days of shredding chicken, making the "Turkey Avacado" special, and blending the "Bananna Berry Smoothie" would ever end. But now that they have, I do miss it! It was a "score of a job", as my mom would say. Within walking distance from grandmas house, understanding bosses, and some of the best food ever! I even served someone famous a frozen yogurt, Jon Voight! What an adventure!

Touring L.A.

While I was living in L.A. this summer, my family came down to visit. We did some tourist things, and explored L.A. like I never have before. We went to the Griffith Observatory, La Brea Tar Pits, The Hollywood Walk, Venice Beach, and even more! My mother is such a good tour guide and so good at planning trips and helping us get the most out of where we are. I liked La Brea Tar Pits the most. I even touched one of the tar pits (shhhhhhhhh, don't tell anyone). But the Hollywood walk was pretty cool too. I mean, I had been there once before when they added my name to the walk after my riveting performance in Peter Pan, but, you know, it was good to be back and see me name in the bright gold star again :)

Cruise

I went on my very first cruise this summer with some of my favorite people. They had an extra ticket, and asked if I'd like to join! How spoiled am I? It was a three day cruise on Carnival, going to Ensenada, Mexico and Catalina, California. I had an absolute blast. I don't think I have ever seen that much food in my entire life! And 24/7! Not a very good way to start of my "healthy" summer. But, it was so fun and something I will never forget!

Graduation

Finally, graduating from High School. It was great to have my dad fly out and see me. He took me to a fancy restraunt afterwards, full of catching up, laughing, and discussing the future. It's a little scary, yes? It was so good to see me dad, I sure do miss him.
