Wisdom Tis' Gone

Yep, I am three teeth less than I use to be. The wisdom teeth have been removed. Not the most pleasant experience, but all and all, not terrible.

  • I did not like the IV in my arm, considering I get light headed when anything pokes my veins. Neither do I like the green bruise left in the place where then needle inserted.
  • My first emotion after coming out of the heavy anesthesia they gave me was crying. I have no idea why. I was not sad, nor were they tears of happiness, I just could not stop crying for the first 5 minutes after "waking up".
  • We religiously iced my face for 20 minutes on 20 minutes off for 24 hours on my lower hole where the tooth was removed. Too bad we iced the wrong side... Ha ha ha

Why are they called wisdom teeth??? I did some research...

"Third molars usually erupt in the late teen years, which coincides with passage into adulthood and is referred to by some as the age of wisdom; hence "wisdom teeth"."

Sometimes I think its all a conspiracy. As my friend Ryan told me on facebook it could be. I posted the remark ....

I look like someone beat my face up

    To which he replied...

    • Ryan Larsen How do you know they didn't??? I mean maybe this whole "wisdom teeth" thing is just a scam, so that doctors can put you to sleep and beat you up for a while, and then have you pay for the beating on the way out. See... they see it as getting paid to relieve stress. I'm starting a conspiracy theory... Who's with me??

    • Ryan Larsen I believe my point is further proved because they told you that you have 3 wisdom teeth!!! 3!!!

    I'm in great agreement. Conspiracy.

    Home Sweet Anaheim?

My family just left Logan and moved to the bright sun shine hills of California. I got to go visit them a week, and realize how much I miss them. The house is beautiful and my family is as lovely as ever.

    LDV Tour Day 2011

The music group I'm in, Latter Day Voices, took a one day trip to Idaho. Our trip consisted of visiting a retirement home and singing for the residents , taking a tour of the Paris Tabernacle, a testimony meeting there, and a big performance of our show for some people in Idaho.

    Summer is Upon Us

As I sit preparing for my last final of my second year of college, my mind is blown! I cannot believe I've been doing the grown-up thing for two years now. But I'll admit, I still don't have it all down...

Man, am I ever excited for summer! Although,  I still don't really know exactly what I'm doing. Here are some of my plans...

    1. Begin with a two week trip to see both of my families in California. While there, I will be getting my wisdom teeth out. I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous. Weird fact, I only have three...

    I do worry about this.

    2. Continue working at the computer labs on USU campus. While I will not be in classes, I have set the goal to read like a maniac! I do enjoy reading quite a bit. While I was doing my practicum with the 6th graders, I asked all the kids what some of their favorites were. I have a list of over 30 books that they claim are "must reads"! I'm excited to get started :)

    3. Begin practice and preparation for Annie the musical. I am so very excited to be doing this at Music Theater West as a NYC/ Mansion Dancer, and Star-to-be :) I get to sing the big NYC song and carry suitcases! Hoot hoot! Ha ha ha :)

    4. Start freaking out because my best friend in the whole world will be coming home from his mission at the end of August! Ahhhhh! I can't even begin to tell you how fast my heart starts to beat when I think about it!!!!

So Summer, I'm ready for ya! Hit me hard and fast! And please be warm!!!!
